Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Turnitin Checks document upload service. By ticking the checkbox and uploading a document, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Service Description

Turnitin Checks provides document plagiarism and AI-content checking reports using third-party checking tools. We accept PDF, DOC, and DOCX files and deliver reports to the email address associated with your account.

2. Payment

Payment is processed via M-Pesa STK Push. The charge per document is displayed before submission. All payments are final and non-refundable once the checking process has begun. If a payment succeeds but the upload fails due to a technical issue on our end, we will re-process your document or issue a credit at our discretion.

3. Document Ownership & Confidentiality

You confirm that you are the rightful owner or have the legal right to submit the document. We will not share, sell, or publish your document or its contents to any third party. Documents are stored securely and used solely to generate your report.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to upload:

• Content that is illegal, defamatory, harmful, or violates any third-party rights.
• Malware, viruses, or any malicious code disguised as a document.
• Documents on behalf of another person without their explicit consent.

We reserve the right to reject or delete any document that violates these terms, without refund.

5. Report Accuracy

Reports are generated by automated third-party tools and are provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy or that the report will match the result from any institutional submission system. We are not liable for any academic or professional consequences arising from your use of the report.

6. Turnaround Time

We aim to deliver reports within the estimated time shown on the platform. Delays may occur during periods of high demand or technical maintenance. We are not liable for any losses arising from delayed delivery.

7. Privacy & Data Retention

We collect your name, email address, and phone number for account and payment purposes. Your information is stored securely and will not be shared with third parties except as required by law. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Turnitin Checks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
